Acceptance of Terms
By using blisshairbyemily.com, booking an appointment, or purchasing products through our site, you agree to these Terms of Service and Service Policies. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
Services Offered
Emily, at Golden Wave Salon (124 N. 76th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53213), provides hair color services, invisible bead weft (IBE) extension installation and maintenance, and related consultations. We also link to a third-party online retail store for hair care products.
Pricing
Prices listed on our website (such as the 850–2000 extension installation range) are estimates. Final pricing is determined during your consultation based on the amount of hair, length, and rows needed. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Booking
Appointments can be booked through our booking platform (Vagaro) or, for extension consultations, by submitting our online questionnaire. We aim to respond to appointment inquiries within 48 hours.
Deposits & Retainers
A retainer equal to half the cost of your extension service and hair is required to secure your appointment date.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments not cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled date and time are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the value of the scheduled service. Future appointments cannot be booked until that balance is paid.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, whether it can still be completed that day or needs to be rescheduled is at Emily's discretion.
Service Policies
Redo, reinstall, and refund terms for extension and color services are set out in our Extension and Color Service Policies, which are part of these Terms. If these Terms and the Service Policies ever differ on those topics, the Service Policies apply.
Salon Conduct
Discriminatory or derogatory statements and actions are not tolerated in the salon.
Health & Safety Disclosures
Clients are responsible for disclosing, prior to any service, any allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions, recent chemical treatments, medications, or other health information relevant to hair color or extension services. A patch test may be recommended or required before certain chemical services. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the outcome of your service and our ability to address any resulting issues.
Assumption of Risk
Hair color and extension services carry inherent risks, including but not limited to allergic or sensitivity reactions, hair or scalp damage, and variation from expected results, particularly when relevant health information is not disclosed or aftercare instructions are not followed. By booking a service, you acknowledge these risks.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emily and Golden Wave Salon are not liable for damages, injury, or dissatisfaction arising from undisclosed health conditions, failure to follow aftercare or maintenance recommendations, or reactions to products used in accordance with standard professional practice.
Extension-Specific Terms
Standard extension move-up appointments range from 7–12 weeks depending on hair type and growth. Results and longevity vary by individual hair type, aftercare, and adherence to the recommended maintenance schedule. Coloring your own hair is a separate service and cost from extension installation.
Photography & Marketing Consent
We may photograph your hair before and after services for consultation records and, unless you tell us otherwise in writing, for use in marketing on our website and social media. Client testimonials shared with us may be published with your first name unless you request otherwise.
Third-Party Platforms
Booking (Vagaro), our consultation questionnaire (JotForm), and our online retail store (currently Salon Service Group) are operated by third parties and governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
Affiliate Disclosure
Some product links on our site, including our Amazon storefront, are affiliate links. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you.
Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, photos, and branding, is the property of Bliss Hair by Emily / Golden Wave Salon and may not be reproduced without permission.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "effective date" at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
